True; however, the current SLK has an all new chassis, with upgraded everything. Our cars use the older SLK components that are nearly 12 years old. Man, I wish that the Xfire and DMX merger would have been successful because I'm sure a new version of the Xfire based off of the current SLK would have been showing up in show rooms very soon. The SRT mostlikely would be using the AMG V8 ala SLK 65 AMG!! Oh well, if that were the case, I probably wouldn't have been able to afford it, because I don't like financing for lengthy periods if at all! I guess it all depends on how you look at things. I got an almost new $50,000 SRT for 24 grand! Can't really argue the math on that one!! I could buy two (as some forum members have already done) for the price of one SLK!
