And I've seen it into the 30's in July when the usual July temp's are high 70's to high 80's and Aug, into the 100's with a humidity factor so high you can't hardly breath. I'm guessing you are around the Houston area, Id seen a pic of your truck a while back and it was on what looked like a beach. BTW VERY nice looking truck, although I'm not a Mopar fan, I use to be though back in my late teens & early 20's when I liked to work on car's .
I am actually about 15min north of San Antonio (3hrs from the coast). It does get humid as hell, but I don't think we had one day over 100* last summer - so much for global warming!

The humidity doesn't help though, no doubt! But, I'll take warm winters and humid summers any day over the winters up north where you can't drive your 'toy'. The best thing about that is all of the low mileage cars that come out of the north.

As far as the beach - that is Padre Island National Seashore - largest un-developed beach in North America. There is 65+/- miles of 4x4 only driving. It can get quite interesting down there, especially when you are 60 miles down and a hurricane starts brewing in the gulf! That truck has ~77k miles on it now and has been in the shop for one recall (weatherstrip). Otherwise, it has been flawless...and I have put it to the test on several occasions!
