The subs seem to be resounding with greater effectiveness, not sure if it's because the midrange speakers in the doors are now tuned outside of the lower frequencies and they need to go somewhere or what. I went with the recommended caps as posted in the original thread. Someone posted early on in the thread if you want to leave a lil thump in the front but not as much as the OEM setup to go with a different cap. Sorry don't remember whose post it was.

I'm not an expert, I don't install stereo's for a living, I hear what I hear. It was worth the 12 bucks and 30 minutes of my time.

Thanks for sharing with me... when I get the fear of doing it myself,,,, I will try this mod. Some have shared to purchase the caps from Crutchfield as they are just slip over the post style. What thread did you start so I can also read more information?
