Default Re: Crossfire Restrictions...

What is this "S-SPEC air induction kit?"

The basic restrictions for the Crossfire go like this:

1.Air Box
2.Exhaust Manifolds
3.Fuel Injectors
4.ECU
5.Intake Manifold
6.Cams
7.Exhaust

If modded in that order you would probably net the largest gain in HP per dollar spent. However, since headers and reasonably priced cams aren't available, you have to make due.

The ECU is only good to a point without bigger intectors, especially if the intake and exhaust are opened up.

We've recently had our ECU tuned and using the same basic flash as every tuner has we came up really lean. We added larger injectors (just finished today) and hopefully will be looking at some serious power. We're expecting somewhere between 250-260CHP.

Our last run cut us off at about 4800 RPM at 188RWHP, lean condition forced us to stop. That's about 230 CHP with 18% drivetrain loss.

I'm hoping to get a full 6200 RPM run next week with some real impressive numbers.
