The boxes do not get too hot as the intercooler cools the air charge, the only real heat is from the motor and its not too much. Being a car guy I did not wanna wait to let the paint dry so I put a MAPP torch inside to force the drying and they were over 250 degrees, paint is ok at that point.


Next installment is the part about the polishing of the passages in the airbox, Woody
Keep us posted - it looks great! The boxes on my car get really hot...hot enough to hurt when you touch them, no doubt.
