What have you guys done. and are you getting the tin can rice burner sound or just a nice growl similar to the stock set up? i do not want to mod it and that find out that it sounds horrible. I just want a louder sound and better air flow for increased performance. So let me know what works best guys. (and girls)
I think you may find this information helpful www.overboost.com

As anecdotal feedback per custom exhaust on my wife's Altima, I can say that exhaust drone may be significant at certain RPM's. I found myself choosing lower gears to eliminate the drone. I recently installed baffles which significantly decreased the levels of exhaust noise....I like the exhaust sound better however I notice less power...I'm looking forward to experiencing the sound the headers will add. There are removeable baffles available on some after market exhausts. I bought dual Nismo Dragger mufflers from ebay at a very reasonable cost. I went from a 3' pipe from the manifolds and split that into two smaller pipes to the mufflers. I heard recently that adding more resonators to the line will also soften the sound.

Cheers
