I actually had the chance to drive both the Crossfire and a 2005 Mustang GT before purchasing last week. To be honest, the only thing the Mustang had on the Xfire was the Power and the room. With a V6, I can only imagine that the Xfire would be faster. The Xfire out handles, out corners, out brakes, and outright looks better than a Stang. The Stang felt boaty, like driving a towncar with a suspension upgrade. My Ford buddy loves the Mustang, but even he agrees that the Xfire is a way better handling car, although he likes the power of the Stang. Take away the V8 and you are only left with a roomier car.

Acrispy1, it really is a matter of taste. I live near Detroit where every gangsta from the hood has chrome bling this and chrome bling that, so my friends and I like the blacked out look. And this is my new daily driver and I also wanted to avoid more trips to the dealer to fix the toys. But like any car, it depends if yours was built on a Friday or not and it sounds like yours was built on a Wednesday so consider yourself fortunate.
