As far as the launch goes you're not gonna get much better than a 1.8x 60' on stock wheels/tires. I believe; as mentioned by others, that the TC is definately your problem. ALWAYS race with traction control off...I turn mine off every time I get in the car as I like to be in control of my vehicle(s).
