I've been dying to find some good twisty or fun roads for a good weekend or day of driving. A coworker friend of mine is heavily active on a Goldwing (he says "geezer glide") forum that has a wealth of information on great places to cruise. This collection has lead to a closer community and allowed lots of people to meet each other.

I think this forum could benefit from a collection of recommended routes for cruising, recreational driving or scenic views. If anyone can recommend any interesting drives, restaurants, or generally cool places to go in your crossfire, share your stories with the community.

I'll start:

I've enjoyed spending a day crusing down Route 66 here in Oklahoma. The road consists of mild hills and long sweepers. I still haven't seen any cops out there. (Probably because the speeders take I-44) I like to stop at "Pops" soda stand for an exotic bubbly beverage. I've been there three times now, and each time there have been at least a dozen classic, exotic, or rare vehicles.





Pops has the largest selection of "gourmet" soda I've ever seen. I was even able to buy a bottle of Moxie elixar that I haven't seen since I was in Maine.
