Chrysler isn't the only one. Mitsubishi got some really bad press for snooping around some track day and club event results posted on an Evo forum site similar to this one, and then flagging the service computer to void their warranties. My dealer told me that they tried to hold the line on that for a month or two, then finally gave up and disavowed any knowledge when it generated too much heat.
For crying out loud, they rolled the Evo out to their dealerships in a dealer only no-speed limit track day event -- and how do you think those dealers sold it.
