Remember that you aren't too worried about reaction time (unless you have a grudge against the guy next to you). At a place where you get so few runs, just make sure to pay attention and get a good launch vs. trying to beat the competitor off the tree.

I've tried to launch a few time's with the TC off, but RENNtech kit + Sprint Booster = a lot of spinning(not at a track). The few times that I have tried it I was using my G-tech meter and it showed like an 11.7 in the 1/4, as much as I was spinning I just wrote it off as a bad reading.
