Re: Good Drives
BrianBrave is right, that's some drive. Especially for a flat lander from Ohio. Four others that I like are:
San Juan Skyway, From Durango Colorado through Silverton, Ouray, Telluride and return to Durango.
Always classic Pacific Coast Hwy. from Carmel California through Big Sur to Santa Barbara.
Interstate 10 out to Palm Springs California and through Joshua Tree National Park, up through the back side of the mountains to Big Bear Lake and on to Lake Arrowhead and down to San Bernardino.
Miami Florida to Key West through the Keys.
Don't we have a Great country? Driven in all of the states except Hawaii and Alaska, intend to do those two before I cash out. For a real challenge try the UK. I drove a VW Golf 1200 miles through England, Scotland and Wales. It took some time to get used to driving on the left side not the " wrong side". The roads were in much better condition than ours and the drivers were much better also. Much more considerate and polite.
