Hello SilverFox and all you Crossfire guys and gals!
My name is Brian - I was led here from TailoftheDragon.com and just wanted to say hello...
It looks like we will be sharing the area with you guys for part of our meet, as I drive a VW R32 and we too are planning our (2nd Annual) slaying of the Dragon. We are going to do our best to stay out of your way, but I have to say, I know very little about your cars and I am looking forward to seeing you guys in action.
I literally just wanted to stop in and say Hi - looking forward to the trip (this will be my second) as this year promises to be (just like you group) a bigger group of R32's than was present last year. If you are interested,
information can be found here about our GTG and we have a catered BBQ (calling it an .:RBQ ) as well,
info for which can be found here.
I would imagine that if you guys and gals are so entusiastic about your Crossfires, that you may be quite interested in cars as well - perhaps you know the R32, perhaps you do not. we are a heavil modded group running the gambit of what has been done to these rare cars (5000 produced for teh US in 2004, another 5000 in 2008 on the newer chasis). To start, we were all the same - 250 HP AWD's in a VW Golf body, but with a more aggressive independent rear suspension. These cars are a blast to drive, and I sincerely hope that you guys enjoy us as much as I think we will enjoy you...
Lastly, should any of you get seperated from your group or just want to cruise, feel free to say helo or join us for a run or even a ride. We are a nice bunch and are looking forward to this as much as you are!!
Looking forward to seeing you and your Crossfires slay that beast!!
Have a great, safe time~
Brian
