I've only had my coupe 4 weeks. It was at the dealer last week to fix the wind noise and to replace a front rim which was scratched when I bought the car. After I picked up the car I noticed it sounded different on the drive home. It has a ticking noise which is consistent with the RPMs. It also has a sucking sound when I step on the accelerator. It is most noticeable around 2,000rpm. And it seems to be coming from the passenger side of the engine. I have an appointment to take it back to the dealer, but they didn't seem to know offhand what it could be. I've read elsewhere on the net that it could be an exhaust leak. Does this sound like the cause? Is this something simple to diagnosis and fix? I just would like to be able to give the dealer an idea of where to look without them having to tear the car apart.
