All I'm saying is to be careful.

Braking distances in dry conditions with good tires:

60mph to 0 - 114 ft + 60 ft reaction time = 174 ft.
100mph to 0 - 319 ft + 100 ft reaction time = 419 ft.
140mph to 0 - 630 ft + 140 ft reaction time = 770 ft.

0.5 miles = 2,640 feet.
0.25 miles = 1,320 feet.

Average base crossfire trap speed at 0.25 miles = 95mph

Assuming your brakes are working at 100%, a stomp on the brakes at the quarter mile line would put you at 900 feet from the end of the runway.

You might want to try something other than a drag race that you could do at any stop light. How about a cone slalom or something? Be creative After all, we can already tell you who is going to win...
