Re: Question for SRT owners
First and formost, I wanted the a vehical with power.
Secondly, I wanted a roadster. I would have liked to have had a manual, but I do remember when I had sticks, that there were a few times when I got tired of shifting. So when an SRT (at the time the only roadster in Florida) was at a dealer,Palm Automotive, in Punta Gorda I bought it in June of 06.
That same afternoon I test drove a 2006 Vette with a stick and one with an auto and an XF roadster limited roadster with an automatic.
The Vette was too fast. The limited not fast enough and the SRT was juuuuuuussssstttttt right. And I went all the way weeee weeeeee (rather quickly) home and had roast beef for dinner.
The rest is history. I frequently shift the auto as if it were a stick and downshift when I feel the need ...... Yep and when I really feel the need for speed....... I go to a Florida GTG ....March 15..in...New Symrna to race TOY around the track.
LOL
