If you decide that you want to drop it, but not that much, cutting 1/2" off your stock springs may be a viable option. Your car wouldn't be slammed, but definitely lower. Cutting that miniscule amount from a stock spring is perfectly fine. The problem some people have is when they cut an entire coil off of a variable rate spring. That creates havoc with the spring geometry.

I just ordered a set of Eibachs, but cancelled at the last minute because I'm just not sure I want to go through all of that trouble just to lower my car and resale value. The resale value is low enough.

The new wheels definitely look shiny!
