So far, the year of the car, at least to me, doesn't matter, nor does the Base versus Limited (here in southernmost TX, leather actually causes me to (ahem) sweat, even with the a/c on full-blast. I do, however, want a 6-speed, which cancels out the SRT6 versions, though I personally prefer the rims over the regular ones, have reconciled myself to the fact that no dealership within 200 miles will be helpful in any repairs, that my insurance might go up, that I will have to use premium gas on it, etc.

But I want one in red. Or gold (there's one on Ebay in that color; looks nice). Too many cars here are silver, black doesn't stay that way for long here (TxDOT constant construction), and the same goes for white.

But red. Just because I like red. Yet I rarely see one. Outside of getting a XF in any other color and then having it re-painted, and getting one new from a dealership (which I REALLY don't want to do since the dealerships here add on ridiculous extra charged due to the 'distance' from their sources), how common is this color?

Like hubby said, Typical Chick Question, but asked sincerely. Any NICE response would be appreciated.

'Nuff said.
