There are no pressure sensors in our seats the only wires that come from the seat would be for the seat heaters or power adjustment. those 2 things can be added to your new seats if you choose to add them or if they come equipped that way but some splicing may be required. the wiring harness for the airbag is connected to the seat belt. if you retain the use of your factory belts this would not be an issue. i have performed this modification myself, i retained the factory seat belts and never had a single light come on. my vehicle was recently serviced and scanned and my ecu was replaced by the dealer due to a crank position sensor not being able to be read. the light never came on with the new ecu and none of the technicians experienced any issues with anything related to the air bag or other safety equipment. short of wrecking my car and deploying my airbags to make sure there is no issue, i have no issues Lil. again i never had any lights come on with my old or my new ecu.
