Oh yes, a pulley is comming sir.

Last nights method was as follows:
Drive in straight off the highway, tech in, line up. Pop hood to let plenum/intake piping cool down. Fuel tank at 1/2. Check tires to be 35psi. Burnout in prestaging lanes and get yelled at. Apologize for being rusty and say its my first time to avoid embarresment. Drive around water pit and do a dry burnout. Put in first gear. Rev the throttle to 1500rpm and hold down brake. Go on 3rd yellow! Let off brake and briskly and push down throttle simultaneously. 2.0 60ft , 13.392 @ 104. At least it wasnt a 14

Througout the next 3 hours and 16 back to back passes, i adjusted my tire pressures from 35 down to 26. All night long i was able to launch 2.08-2.09 60fts regardless of the tire pressure difference, so long as i launched between 1000-2000 rpm's. Launching from idle was worth a 2.1 60ft. Launching over 2000 was worth a 2.07 60ft. I was afraid to launch over 2000 rpm because at 2000 rpm the tires are really trying to break loose to the point you can hear them creaking about to spin, and i didnt really know how hard that would be on the stock tq converter(ive never drag raced an auto before).

My test for next time will include launching OVER 2000rpm to see if its beneficial or detrimental on street tires. Also, i will play with air pressures more. Im going to do a few 35-36 psi passes....then take it all the way down to the low 20's to see what happens. Id also like to try and figure out if theres any difference in 60ft's if you have the car in 1st gear vs. drive.

And then when i get all that down....let the car cool down for 1 hour....and hopefully hit mid to high 12's.
