Hm.. Looks like safe driving school at minimum... Something that annoys me is you don't even know what kind of fees and charges you will be facing because it is so varies.. and the highest posted speed on the back of a New Jersey ticket is 24 mph over speed limit
It happened in Englewood, New Jersey
In Massachusetts it's a simple formula: $50 for the first 1-10 mph over the posted limit, then $10 for each 1 mph beyond that. Then there's the loveable head & brain injury surcharge of $50 tacked on all speeding tickets. So the minimum fine is $100 plus another $10 for each mph over. So if you were ticketed in Mass doing 60 in a 25 mph zone, your fine would be $350 payable by mail within 20 days, or you can request a hearing before a Clerk Magistrate. Usually the Clerks will reduce the fine if you're honest about what you did and promise to be more careful in the future. As always, having a bad driving record won't help to reduce your fine. We won't even talk about the insurance surcharges you are subjected to. You can buy a lot of premium gas for $350.
Sorry for your loss.
