I said I know its bad for you, I'm not an idiot. You may think choosing to do it anyways is an idiotic choice, but what I said was I do know its not the best thing to do and so I don't need peoples comments on its health factor.
And hookah isn't near as bad for you as cigarettes or cigars..
- Cigarette tobacco contains TAR. TAR is a acronym for the bad chemicals in cigarettes which are harmful. Including, but not limited to Formaldehyde, Hydrogen Cyanide, and Carbon Monoxide. Hookah tobacco contains 0% TAR.
- Nicotine - Cigarettes contain 10% or more nicotine. Though nicotines is highly addictive, its health effects are minimal. Even so, hookah tobacco contains 0.5% nicotine. Thats 1/20th as much as a cigarette.
- Surgeons General Warning: A warning that is required by law to be put on all packages of harmful tobacco and alcoholic beverages indicating that consuming the product could be harmful or fatal. Yet, hookah tobacco is not required to have the same warning level because it's contents are made mainly of molasses and honey. Coincidence? I think not.
Those are just a few reasons off the top of my head.. I know anyone who is anti-smoking is just going to disregard this and always assume smoking is bad for you. And granted it is worse than just breathing air, maybe its really not as bad as you are all told it is.
I've had freinds who have smoked cigarettes for 50+ years, no cancer, and freinds that have smoked hookah for 50+ years, no health affects.
There I've entertained the non-smokers, now can we just get repleis for people who will contribute to the subject of this thread... please?
