Like you said in option 1..Strip a conventional xfire, sell the leftovers and drop a v8 in. For racing, the supercharged engine would be an added expense and headache with a limited level of horsepower. You can't beat displacement of a V8. The aluminum GM LSX engines are the way to go, light weight, ease of installation, strong aftermarket and factory support, high horsepower and reliable

2. Buy a SRT engine or SRT and swap a manual into it.

I will be removing all the ABS TC YAW airbags and everything else that can be pulled.
Just wondering if this is viable or am I just have a seniors moment
