Re: Rear Tire Suggestions!
Your choice of General UHP tires is an excellent one. If you decide to go this way you would have to down size to 245/35x19. The important thing to understand about this summer tire is it sticks like glue, gives a compliant ride and has good tread life. I have yet to have one flat spot in the cold. If you decide to go this way understand that a summer tire tracks much faster than an AW tire. So as long as you get front and rear or you have summer tires already on the front you will be okay. Do not run summer tires on the back only. There will be a very good chance that the rear of your car will end up in the front. As a footnote; this tire was rated # 1 on Tirerack for over one and a half years. Also downsizing will throw your speedometer off by a little. At 100mph you will be going 99mph. Small price to pay for such a great tire.
