Thought about and have asked Andy's Autosport (USA) who advertise a Vortec for the XF but have not had a reply as of yet.

All I want to do is go faster , a Left hand drive car would be useful for our fastest tracks here Philip Island, Sandown and the scariest of all Bathurst
I will just bring the car in pull it apart and make the decision on how I can get the most out of her and remain in a suitable class.
