I was having the same rattle described which started after taking it in for service. They may have adjusted the hatch stops anticipating a problem or maybe it was just a coincidence. After reading these comments, I checked and they were all the way out and the bolts looked they had been adjusted. But I loosened them, made sure they were fully extended and changed the angle slightly. After a couple of tries, the rattle disappeared! Must be a very sensitive alignment...
