3M makes a clear tape and also a black felt tape may be better than the unsigltly duct tape and the possiblity of glue running down the rear of the car in the summer heat.
I'll replace the duct tape with something better. Right now it's just a quick fix.
Bet you'd be surprised how handy duct tape is for fixing airplanes. It's not known as 100 MPH speed tape for nothing.
