Jeff opened up his shop, the soda machine, etc., and gave us the run of the place. The work they did on all of the XF's was first rate and Jeff wouldn't take a dime from anyone except for a few parts that he ordered on the spot and they were delivered within a few minutes from his local parts distributor. On my XF, they got rid of an annoying sound coming from the right front wheel (lose wheel bearing) and checked the car from top to bottom. At one point, someone complained that the driver's side dome light was not as bright as the passenger side and a number of us had the same thing (I thought it was normal). One of his mechanics took apart the dome light and found that one of the contacts was slightly corroded (about the size of a pinhead). Before you knew it, 2 or 3 of us were all taking apart our dome lights and making the repair. The highlight for me and my 17 year old daughter (who loves the XF) was Jeff's XF SRT. Talk about a beast - new pulleys, NOS, customized engine electronics, a small touchscreen to run the whole system, switches installed on the console that looked better than factory, and everything done to absolute perfection! Running more than 500 horses, too! I have never had so much fun going to a garage. My thanks to Jeff and all the fine folks at LDG Automotive!
