Dan,

In the UK the Service Log Book is where the dealer places his official stamp to say you have car serviced by a recognised dealer, and the mileage gets recorded. When we come to sell cars in the UK, you get a higher price for vehicles with a Full Service History (FSH) (i.e. a complete Service Log Book). You may call it something different.

I wish it was done by computer - it would give me one less item to lose.

Are your cars more valuable when you sell them, if you have had them properly maintained?
