My brakes sounded like hell too when I first bought it. After a few hundred miles the noise went away, I believe the rotors had some deep rust on them and it took a while for it to wear off. You will want to get you some Rotex Gold pad's right away, the difference in brake dust is like night & day. As for the door opener's the directions are in the manual, I don't recall from memory. I've done to many different vehicles in the past couple years and most all are a little different
