I bought a Garmin Nuvi 350 about two years ago. I love the unit and works great while I'm in my XF and my other vehicles. IMHO, buying an individual GPS unit is cheaper than buying a built-in one to a radio as you can take it with you where ever you go. I also travel for business and it is small enough to fit in my laptop bad and use in car rentals.
I did the same thing.. two years ago the Nuvi 350.. they make them even better and smaller now.. but the nuvi 350 is everything I could ever want or need.. it truly is small..
