There was an article in last weekend's KC Star newspaper about a local traveling salesman that is the original owner of a Mercedes S320....same engine I believe...anyway, he has 428,000 miles on his.....at 300,000 miles he had to have the head gasket replaced....he's had 56 oil changes ...so that's like every 7,600 miles....that jives with what my '07 Crossfire is telling me re. oil change intervals. I drive like a maniac (6 speed Limited) & after 5,000 miles I ave about 23.5 mpg. I drove real nice for one tankfull and got 26mpg. I'd say 70% highway.....hit 90-100 mph at least once or twice / day. With Lifetime Powertrain Warranty....I plan to keep it for the rest of my life!!!
