I average 26-27 mpg on the highway in my roadster, which now has 26k miles. I tend to accelerate modestly but drive it fast: 75-90 on the highway with bursts to 130-140 on very rare occasions. On a few trips where I kept it at 60-70 mph, I got 28-29 mpg and one time over 30 mpg.
Only issue so far is the fan recall, a loose window frame in one door which was tightened, and the clips on the bottom rear of the drivers seat came loose (also fixed under warranty). I bought the extended warranty because I was nervous about all the cables on the soft top and now wish I had saved my money.
I just bought an SRT6 and I'm a little nervous about the gas mileage. But I'll take it to Detroit (360 mile RT) next weekend and see how it does. If nothing else, it needs a good run after sitting since last October at a dealership and since December in my garage.
