If I can interject something here. The 10$ membership was the original fee that JD came up with to cover his costs for the sticker/mailing costs. Don't ask me how he arrived at 10 bucks that was the number. With your XFI membership you also got special access to the XFI forum within this forum. Don't get too hung up on the fee. Lets just try and take this from a forum to a club. I think that was JD's intention before he suddenly left last July. We have a great Forum here, nice people and I think all we need worry about is taking this to the next level.
I do want to throw something out there. Last year at Carlisle JD contacted someone, well before hand and got us a tent. If you have ever been to Carlisle you know how welcome a little shade is. You either get the tent based on participation or you have to pay for it. Someone needs to run this down for this year. As I recall JD spoke directly to someone at Chrysler.
Andrew may or may not know something about this.
I have no problem getting involved in this but I don't want to duplicate what someone might be doing. Turn me loose!
