I have been a steady reader of this forum for about three months now. I purchased four months ago an 05' alabaster roadster with only 2800 miles. Im in love and drive it every chance I get. However, today after having it sitting for about two weeks the battery is totally dead. I had AAA do a voltage test on it and it is totally dead. Nothing was on but I have been having problems with my radio not saving stations. Im assuming that the previous owner just let it sit for so long that it just slowly lost its charge. Does that make sense? In any event the deed is done. My question is are there any specific settings that need to be "reset" once I disconnect the battery? Any special battery I should go with? Thanks!
Make sure your trunk is closed all the way. Seemed to be a problem for me in the past. there is a light on the bottom right inside corner that does not go off unless you have a good latch.
