It just amazes me that my 04' Crossfire is probably worth less than my 81' Vette. The Corvette's value is about the same as it's original sticker price. Of course, that doesn't account for inflation! It's a good thing most of us didn't buy the Crossfire as an investment, but I didn’t buy it to be taken to the cleaners either. I sure hate to think of what it will cost to repair some of the Crossfire’s problems that we will see 10-20 years form now. As it is, the Corvette is very repairable and the parts are actually very reasonable. I love the Crossfire and it is by far a much much much better car that the old Vette. However, I will probably get rid of it as soon as the extended service plan expires in about 4 years. I believe that the thing will have failures way above and beyond what will be covered by the new lifetime power train warranty that is so well revered. Maybe, I'm just a worrywart?
