I noticed your age (17). Even if your insurance deductible is low, I'd advise to bite the bullet and pay for this out of pocket. Even something this minor is bound to make your insurance rates skyrocket at such a young age. Definitely talk to your parents about it, they should be able to advise you more about their policy (assuming that you're covered under it).
