To Mod or not to Mod?
There are striking similarities between the Crossfire and the Porsche 914. Both ran for a limited number of years, both have a passionate following and they are both great compact sport cars. Like with many classic sport cars, the more original the better, which is what I looked for in the 914. There are many mods that are made to the Crossfire that will only raise the value; there are some that cannot be undone. Example: I saw a pic where the bottom row of switches were moved to where the cup holder is (no big loss) the cig lighter and astray removed as well and replaced with a nav system. I thought this was cool, but is it for me? Everyone needs to do what they feel is best for their own Crossfire, but in a time where most Manufactures are producing cookie cutter cars, the Crossfire could be a classic, a car that only comes around once in a long while. I always felt the Porsche 914 should have been taken care of better as a whole and with forums like this one, we are on our way. So to Mod or not to Mod?
