Looking at buying SRT6
This isn't my first post but, as most forum tradition dictates, I should introduce myself before asking advice on the SRT6. As the title indicates, I haven't purchased the vehicle (yet) as I'm trying to think through my options before buying. I hope nobody gets mad at me but I'm one of those people who thought the Crossfire was an ugly car. I don't know what's changed but for some reason I really like the car now (particularly the SRT6). There are two kinds of vehicle I like; ones you rarely see on the road and sleepers. For example, my "family car" is a 06 Chevy Trailblazer SS, it's got to be one the fastest bricks on the planet! This is another reason I like the SRT, it's sporty yet reserved.
Well, don't mean to bore you all to death so back to the title...I'm looking for an SRT6, preferably convertible but will be happy with a coupe as well. Color isn't really important but price is. I've seen prices range from 18.5 to 27k for the 05's (dealerships only). So if any of you east coast/south eastern crossfire owners see an SRT in your local paper, at the dealership, etc. Let me know. I do daily searches on autotrader, cars.com and various craiglist listings.
