Re: Looking at buying SRT6
When I first saw the Crossfire 5 years ago at the autoshow, I found the coupe interesting but not fantastic. I much prefer the shape of the roadster, esp with the top down. Having said that, I picked up my SRT6 and after lovingly waxing it last night, I find the lines growing on me. Maybe it's the whalefin spoiler (reminds me of a Porsche Turbo Carrera a little), but it's a very attractive car.
Hit autotrader.com and kbb.com and look for vehicles as far as you're willing to travel. Strike quickly - I think the word is starting to get out about how much of a bargain they are and prices are sure to steady or rise in the spring. You should be able to find a relatively low mileage coupe in the $18-22k range. Regardless of what forum members say, I don't consider these winter vehicles.
