I've adjusted the bumpers numerous times, but always get some sort of creak or rattle that increases over time. Be careful though. I stripped one of the screws while adjusting one time. Since I taped the latch bar, I have had ZERO noises from the hatch. No creaks, no rattles, nothing. even when the hatch bounces around, the tape insulates the metal on metal, so no noise. The TSB is a replacement of the latch with one that has a rubberized coating on the latch bar. The tape does the same thing, but you don't have to worry about the dealership screwing up other things like your interior and paint.
