Default You know the Crossfire truly is a work of art when...

you're in Paris (as I am right now) and you go to the Museum d'Orsay and you're looking at works from Renoir, Monet, Van Gogh etc. and you're thinking to yourself, yeah these are okay; but I sure do miss that piece of art sitting in my garage back in Texas. This is my first vacation away from my Xfire, just ten days and I often go 10 days without driving it at home, but there's just something about knowing that I can any time I want.

I must say Paris is not a good town for a Xfire, or for any nice car for that matter; First, gas is pushing 9 bucks a gallon with the current exchange rate, but more importantly, bumpers are used exactly for that, bumping. When people parallel park here and the spot is not big enough, they make it big enough using their........bumpers. On many occassions I have seen people push one, two, even three cars back or forwards to create enough space for their car. If you're a car person, this is horrifying, but it's just a way of life here. It's hard to find a car here that isn't dented and scratched to hell, whether it's an S Class Mercedes or a little Smart car.

I do like France, but if I lived here, I would ride a scooter like most people do or take the subway.

Only 8 more days.
