Why do you want to vent your front brakes?
Are you having a problem with brake fade?

The best function, IMO, for opening the side vents would be to vent the air from the engine compartment, like the Corvette. There's not a lot of open area (open to outside) to vent out the air coming in through the radiator. Since the whole bottom of the engine compartment is covered there's not a lot of ventilation.
