Re: How cold 'til you put the top up?
Since my droptop is in for the 10th time to repair the "top not going down". I was talking with a mechanic about it (parts on order) he said Chrysler told him that the top would not go down if it was to cold, I guess the stories here refute that "theory".
The dealer has gave it the "old school try" .... we are down to replacing the top control computer and a power switch. The funny part of the story is, they exhausted my rental car time and decided to give me a new Dodge Caliber to drive in the mean time. So I go to pick up the car with all of 18 miles, stick the key and notice no lights or anything .... the battery was dead, I just had to laugh. We jumped the car off and down the road I went. Let me tell you, the Caliber is no Crossfire, not even close.
When the top did/does work I have no problem with wearing shorts, t-shirt and driving with the top down at 34 degrees.
