Not in Nevada - we get to go to DMV and spend 3 - 4 hours there to get our new cars registered.
Here in AZ the car is registered through the dealer. As for custom plates, registration renewal etc it can all be done online.
Luckily, we are able to renew our registration on line. That helps!
