Congrats. I too have a Black SRT and live in Ohio (Dayton area). I drive my SRT year round – but have access to several other cars so it rarely if ever gets driven in snow/salt (but it does on occasion). I don’t think the values of these are ever going to go up – except maybe 50 years from now so I certainly wouldn’t discourage you from driving it everyday. I do like to keep mine clean though and they are not good in the snow (not bad if you put on all seasons – I assume P tires meant the pilots). I bought a set of limited wheels and put on all-seasons (and swap rubber spring/fall) so I can drive mine in the winter. You will definitely need to do that if it is a daily driver – the pilots are like driving on hard blocks of hard rubber when it is cold out – think tricycle tires (but the pilots are incredible in the summer). So, if you do that you are probably looking at $1500 in tires and wheels – so keep that in mind when doing the cost comparisons with keeping the other car. Frankly, I’d keep the other car.
