Sorry, I get a little rattled when people who don't have a clue, attempt to insinuate that because one chooses not to wear a helmet (if there is not a helmet law for that state) (there isn't one in Texas) one is considered a "MORON" !

Here's my take on this issue ! First and foremost it IS MY CHOICE, if Texas had helmet rules I would abide by them. Second, I'm sick of folks saying "well if he would have been wearing a helmet, he would have made it though the crash ". BTW I've been in a bike crash, I know where of I speak ! A helmet offers little protection to injury during a highway speed crash. Just ask my bud who sits in a wheelchair paralysed from the neck down ! He was wearing a helmet !

So if you have an opinion, fine, you're free to express it, this is the Land of the Free ! But if you chose to resort to name calling, well as an ole Baptist preacher once told me, when you point a finger in judgment, you always have four fingers pointing back at yourself. So comment if you must, but save the name calling. Who knows it maybe a BIKER who saves your A$$ from one of those stray bullets !
