I believe she is talking about the rubber weather stipping attached to the car, not the door. The strip that goes from the windshield and around the door opening along the roof. There is a gap in between the top edge of the rubber and the puffy portion of the weather stripping (if you know what I mean by puffy). It looks like where the window would sit. You can fit that Metro stripping in there. I'm going to try this method also once I get time.
