Re: 2006 Limited Coupe: Buying a Leftover from the Dealer
About a year or so ago, I started looking, in earnest, for a Crossfire Coupe. I did not want to buy it new and had driven several cars that didn't fit the bill. I finally found the car I proudly own, about 45 miles away, in Framingham Mass. I arrived at the dealership with my PT Cruiser all shiney and cleanat about 10:00 am. The Crossfire had 12,000, one owner miles on it and was a color I hadn't thought of but loved. The Alabaster white with the Dark Grey and Cedar interior, auto-stick and was just perfect. It took almost all day to finalize the deal. They gave me what I wanted for my car and the Crossfire was $18,500, I got the 7 year 70,000 mile warranty ( bumper to bumper) and roaside assistance for that duration as well.
$7,700 plus registration and a few other fees and I left at 4:30 PM. At the height of Boston rush hour traffic with this lovely beast. I haven't regretted a thing except for perhaps not holding out for the roadster. Think about it, there are a lot of cars out there, just cars! Crossfires are a way of life, you become smitten rather quickly and the love affair continues, on and on.
