. Someone mentioned that it better be at least $2000, or it is junk. That person better price Superchargers, they run around $7,000.
I was talking about the Electric Supercharger. For this to be a legit deal which it now looks like it is, total cost would be between 1-2K - if it was much more than this then you'd have to consider selling your Xfire and getting an SRT6. The SRT6 is turnkey. Adding 40% more horsepower would very well neccesitate upgrading the fuel injectors & fuel pump - by the time your done... how much money would you have invested and what would your car realistically be worth? Then you suspention is not tuned for the extra power & the faster you go the quicker you should be able to stop, so now we're talking about upgrading the brakes.
If your're trying to turn a NA Crossfire into SRT performance... just get an SRT. In the end dollar for dollar you'll be better off and happier.
my appologies for being so skeptical and rude - but you could have avoided mine as well as the comments of others had you just given MORE INFO. on the product - that is key.
If you look at the SRT section anytime someone has come up with a product they have ALL gone through some skepticism. Perfect example... the new SC PULLEY.
I don't know your $ situation but sharing info. - someone might be ready and able to do it all in a few ctdays and share results - a key purpose of forum.
AGAIN - MY APPOLOGIES FOR BEING SO HARSH, but if you'd have given all the info. (no reason to hide it if you are not connected in development of the product) peolple would have had a completely different attitude on the subject.
IN YOUR ORIGINAL POST YOU SOUNDED LIKE PEOPLE TRYING TO GET YOU INTO THEIR "BUSINESS" BY CREATING "YOUR OWN BUSINESS" AND NEVER TELL YOU WHAT YOU'LL BE SELLING - AMWAY
